Educational Qualification :
1. Engineering/ Technology Discipline
a) Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.)/Technology (Tech).
b) Preference will be given for Ist Class Master’s and / or Bachelor degree holder in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
c) Ph.Ds in appropriate field of Engineering / Technology will be given priority.
2. Computer Application Discipline
a) Master’s Degree with 55% marks in MCA or M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications.
b) Preference will be given for Ist Class Master’s and / or Bachelor degree holder in MCA or M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications.
c) Ph.Ds in MCA or M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications will be given priority.
3. Bioinformatics Discipline
a) Master’s Degree with 55% marks in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
b) Preference will be given to Ist Class Master’s and / or Bachelor’s degree in appropriate branches of Engineering / Technology. Ph.Ds in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology will be given priority.
OR
c) Ph.D. degree with 55% marks at Master’s level in Bioinformatics / Applied Biological Sciences / Life sciences / Information sciences/ Mathematical Sciences/ Agriculture Sciences with appropriate background in area of Bioinformatics, mathematical & Computations Biology.
4. Management Discipline
a) A Master’s Degree with 55% marks in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time / three year part-time PGDM declared equivalent and accredited by AICTE / UGC.
b) Preference will be given for Ist Class Master’s and / or Bachelor degree holder in appropriate field of Business Management / Administration.
c) Ph.Ds / NET in appropriate field of Business Management / Administration will be given priority.
5. Science & Humanities Discipline
a) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Preference will be given for Ist Class Degree holders at Master’s and / or Graduate level.
b) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
c) Ph.Ds in appropriate field of Science & Humanities will be given priority.
NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master Programmers in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
6. Architecture & Planning Discipline
a) First Class or equivalent Grade in Bachelor of Architecture or Planning with Master’s Degree in Planning.
b) Ph.D. in relevant discipline will be given priority.
How to Apply : Application in prescribed format along with D.D. (Demand Draft) of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of Director – MANIT, Bhopal, payable at Bhopal must reach to office of the Registrar, MANIT, Bhopal – 462051 latest by 20th December 2009. ST/SC candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
