Age Limit: 27 years as on 01-01-2010. Age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates of W.B. State only.
Other Conditions:
All positions are transferable. Selected Candidates will be appointed in the regular pay scale, initially on probation for a period of one year. Candidates must have adequate knowledge for communicating in Bengali / Nepali language. Final year students may also apply subject to the production of the final results by 30.09.2010 positively.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance at written test and interview. Candidates called for written test / interview shall not be entitled to reimbursement of traveling expenses. The Written Test & Interview will be held in Kolkata only.
Application Fee :
DD of Rs.400/- (Rs.300/- for Sub Assistant Engineer Posts) drawn in favour of West Bengal Electricity Distribution Company Ltd, payable at Kolkata only. Fee not required for SC/ST Candidates.
