SAIL Salem Attendant Technician Operator Trainee Posts 2012
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Salem Steel Plant (SSP), Salem is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Attendant cum Technician (ACT) - Trainee posts in the following trades. SSP is a Government of India Enterprise. There are 54 vacancies in total. Applicants should have SSLC / HSC and ITI in Fitter / Electrician / Welder Trades. Selected candidates will be posted for a period of 2 years and will be extended two more years as per the requirement.
Attendant cum Technician Trainee: Total number of 54 posts.
1. ITI - Fitter Trade : 26 posts.
2. ITI - Electrician Trade : 20 posts.
3. ITI - Welder Trade : 8 posts.
Applicants must be aged below 28 years. The selection process will consist of essay, written test, interview and medical examination. Filled in applications with certified copies of certificates in support of age, qualification and experience should be sent to Post Bag No.781, Circus Avenue Post Office, Kolkata - 700017 with Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.150/- drawn on State Bank of India, Salem Steel plant Branch Campus in favor of SAIL - A/c Salem Steel Plant and payable at Salem. Last day for receipt of completed application form is 10 September, 2012.
