Specialization at PhD or Pre-PhD level: Computer Software ICT Applications
Experience: Rich experience in Software dev.; Web design, Visual products design
Pay Scale: Rs. 10,000–325–15,200
Qualification: Ph.D. in Science/Technology/ Management (withScience & Technology background) with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degrein the appropriate branch with a good academirecord throughout. And 3 years relevanexperience [or good PG Degree (M.Tech / M.Sc MCA) with a minimum of 7 yrs relevant exp.]
An outstanding Engineer/ Technologist / Scientisworking in Industry/ NGO/ Res.Lab withestablished reputation and who has madsignificant contribution in the field of ruraindustrialization but not having first class inpreceding degree could also be considered inexceptional cases.
How to apply:
The application with attested copies of certificate in support of age, educational qualification etc along with 2 passport size photograph (full name be written on backside) should reach the Director in the above address within 25 days of advertisement or within 32 days in case the applicant is from Northeast region of Assam Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh, Division of J&K State, Lahul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Island and Union territory of Lakshadweep. The maximum age limit for Dy. Director and P.S.O. is 55 yrs and for S.S.O. 45 yrs as on 5-9-2008. The age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates on production of relevant certificates. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed with: “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF (Name of the Post) along with the date of advertisement and the name of the newspaper. Candidates serving in States / Central Govt., Autonomous bodies / Public Undertakings should apply through proper channel.
