Specific Responsibilities:
· Provide specific solution/technology/product consulting and technical support as part of a team doing the final system integration and implementation for a customer activities include
· Design, code, and test of Policy Control Applications using Sandvine’s SandSript language and other integration software
· Configuring and troubleshooting network installations
· Designing and executing Acceptance Test Plans for the deployed solutions
· Provide specific solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support for major account opportunities.
· Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements.
· Strong understanding of Sandvine’s products and solutions portfolio
· Creating, present and document technical solutions.
· Providing consultative support and mentor other less experienced Systems Engineers in assigned major account opportunities.
· Working effectively as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team.
Required Qualifications:
· Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent (B.E/B.Tech or equivalent 4 year degree)
· Demonstrated experience in a object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++
· Working knowledge of scripting languages (sh, bsh, tcl, and Perl) and SQL
· Working knowledge ofLinux/FreeBSD system configuration and administration
· Working knowledge of Web 2.0 technology (Javascript, HTML, HTTP, etc.)
· Knowledge of packet level debugging using Wireshark, tcpdump, tcpreply or similar tools
· Knowledge and strong operating experience in IP networking (routing and switching), wireline networks(Cable & DSL), wireless networks (GSM, UMTS, LTE), and operational support systems (OSS)
· Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
· Willingness and ability to travel internationally, ~20%
