ESSENTIAL DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understand business processes and offer effective solutions to business requirements
• Must be able to support non-technical users in Thomson Reuters offices based in various international locations
• Must be fluent and articulate in English
• Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Design, configure & implement systems to extract data from selected websites using Kapow and Connotate platforms. This system with dynamic logic will successfully scrape data and metadata from a range of likely formatted layout without manual intervention
• Maintenance of system in line with standard BAU processes and also resolve any ad hoc maintenance issues
• A team worker, able to work in a fast paced environment using agile methodologies
• Ability to confidently interact with stake holders and end users either verbally or in writing
• Assisting with integration between the Product & Kapow server
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
• Create, update and manage documentation
• Able to work hours outside the normal business hours
• Strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through and ability to respond to last minute requests
• Other duties as directed by management

• Experience in using Database like MySQL, SQL Server

• Understanding of basics of TCP/IP & HTTP protocol (including proxies, caching, cookies, headers, status codes, POST/GET/HEAD methods, etc)
• Authentication, Security, Session tracking
• Understanding of user experience
