Position Summary:
As a Configuration Engineer, you will support the technical configuration needs of Kenexa's customers across the suite of Kenexa product offerings including 2x Onboard, 2x Brassing, 2x Recruit, and 2x Perform. The Configuration Engineer performs the hands-on setup activities required to create and configure Kenexa applications on behalf of its internal resources and Kenexa customers.

External responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Configuring 2x Platform products for all the new Implementations, live clients and demo sites for prospect clients.
2. To communicate with internal and external clients as in when needed.
3. Analyses requirements, suggests solutions to Project Managers/Sales Team on the product configurations, branding, integrations and data export/import.
4. Works as a team player in a global project team environment split between India and across the world
5. Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment with a strong customer service orientation. Successfully works on multiple concurrent projects.
6. Perform thorough technical trouble shooting of all the tickets, clearly specify the steps and instructions that need to be followed to resolve/reproduce the issues and escalate items to other departments for task completion. Excellent analysis skills, attention to detail, consistent follow-up and most importantly, dedication to quality is expected while working on projects
7. To Switch as a project Engineer and an ongoing support engineer depending on the need basis.
8. A delivery focused attitude is expected with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines.
External requirements
Qualifications/Required Experience:
1. Any Science graduate from a reputed university.
2. 1-2 years of solid experience in semi client facing/technical support role or any configuration related profiles.
3. Excellent in verbal, written English communication and documentation skills is a must.
4. Basic Knowledge in xml/xsl.
5. Strong team collaboration skills across mixed client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
6. Knowledge on software project management, Software Development Life Cycle, defect life cycle and software process metrics.
7. Experience in gathering, analysing business requirements.
8. Should be Flexible working in shifts.
