Primary task is the analysis and execution of programming modifications for the Labor Management product, working independently on individual tasks while interacting with the rest of the development team across the geographies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Uses programming and technical knowledge to design and develop modifications and can execute programming tasks both efficiently and with a high degree of quality.
* Has willingness to work in a collaborative workflow process where multiple people participate in varying roles on one task (e.g. designer, programmer, tester).
* Uses good communication skills to work with people in the same office as well as other locations.
* Can work independently and participate in peer level mentoring and review.
* Stays on top of technology changes in the operating system, programming languages, databases, etc.

Position Requirements

• Education: Bachelors/Masters Degree plus equivalent experience
• Minimum of one year(s) of relevant experience in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of a product centered on Java/J2EE technology.
• Practical experience with programming in Java based frameworks.
• Practical experience with development of multi-tier applications.
• Working familiarity with web applications on the java platform.
• Working familiarity with Oracle/DB2 database programming.
• Ability to demonstrate good analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
