Position Title:  Executive Network
Reports to (Title):Asst.Manager/Manager                   Total Staff Controlled: 0
I) Position Summary
a) Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
To form part of the Network Optimization /Customer Service Activation/Network Augmentation

b) Major Activities
 1. Design of TCL Product Features into network
     Understand the Design Parameters,
     Design the solution into Database
     Clear ambiguity with NOC
     Co-ordinate with PM

2.  Network Augmentation & Update database
     Understand  network designs and plan the augmentation
     Explain the plan to  peers and team
     Communicate with Field Operations, NOC

3.  Network Optimization & Plans
    Identify Bandwidth Crunch Areas
    Plan Re-grooming the network
    Update the database
    Schedule the plan in OSS systems

4.  Synergy with Team
     Initiate network activities
    Feedback to reporting Manager
   Bring the team to the required level of functional expertise

5.  Network Learning & Process understanding
    Understand the network
    Communicate with peer goups
Learn various tools & systems

6  Problem Management:
    Identify critical areas of process/service deliver
    Escalation to reporting Manager


II) Person Specification:
a) Essential Qualifications:



 Degree   in Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering
  
b) Requisite Skills:
Ø  Technical


   Knowledge of SDH /DWDM / SONET technologies
   Knowledge of Ethernet/IP  Technology
   Knowledge of SDH Multiplexer’s , GMPLS
  
Ø  Functional


Knowledge of OSS systems
Hand On experience on Various Vendor NMS/ EMS like Ciena , ECI , Marconi , Tejas.
Written & Oral Communication skills.

Ø  Leadership
Ability to handle ambiguity Team building

Ø  Behavioral


Aptitude to adopt new OSS/ BSS tools ,

c) Work Experience




1.       0  to 1  Year of working experience in the relevant field
