MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Self-motivated, attitude of ownership, and a strong desire to learn new technologies
- BSC/Diploma in Electronics/Computers/Electrical
- 0 to 2 years experience in windows/linux system adiminstration.
- Must have knowledge of computer operations obtained through experience and training
- Automated OS deployment windows/linux.
- Basic understanding of SQL server & data backups
- Configuring DNS, DHCP on client systems
- Knowledge on http/ftp/samba server configuration will be an added advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a farm of windows xp & linux based test systems
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
- Power & network cabling.
- Position deals with a variety of problems and sometime has to decide which answer is best. The question/issues are typically clear and requires determination of which answer (from a few choices) is the best
