Invites applications from bright young Indian Men and Women for following SSC/PSC Officers to join in the following courses in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches through Indian Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to be conducted on 28/08/2011 :

  • 53nd Short Service Commission Course (SSC) Men & Women Technical Branch
  • 132nd Ground Duty Officers Course (GDOC) for Permanent Commission for Men

Indian Air Force :OFFERS EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATES AND ENGINEERS (MEN & WOMEN) . JOIN FLYING (PILOT) BRANCH AS SHORT SERVICE COMMISSIONED (SSC) OFFICERS THROUGH Fast Track Selection (FTS): on 12th & 18th September 2010

Indian Air Force will conduct Fast Track Selection (FTS) at Gurgaon, Jaipur, Dehradun, Nagpur, Hyderabad & Kolkata short listing of candidates for FLYING PILOT BRANCH for SSC.

Training of the finally selected candidates will commence in Jan, 2011.

Educational Qualifications:
  • Graduates (Three years course) in any discipline including BE / BTech (Four Years Course) who have attained Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together. All candidates applying MUST have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level through regular schooling.
  • Candidates appearing in the Final year / Semester examination may also apply provided they fulfill the following conditions:
    (a). Candidates should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together upto the last semester / year for which results have been declared at the time of FTS / AFSB testing
    (b). Candidates should be able to provide provisional / original degree certificate latest by 15th December 2010
Age: 19 to 23 years as on 01 Jul, 2011 (Born between 02 Jul 1988 and 01 July 1992 (Both dates inclusive))

  • No. 79 Aeronautical Engineers Course (AEC) (Permanent Commision for Men)
    No. 51 Short Service Commission Course (SSC) for Men and Women

Eligibility Condition:
  • Should be an Indian Citizen
  • Age: 18 to 28 years as on 1st Jul 2011 i.e. born between 02 Jul 1983 to 01 Jul 1993 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications:
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}: Four year degree qualification and secured a minnimum of 60% marks in all papers put together from recognised university
  • Section A&B of Examination of the Associate Membership Examination of Institution of Engineers (India) in Electrical , Electronics or Telecomm. Subjects OR
  • Section A&B Examination of the Aeronautical Society of India (Avionics & Comm.) OR
  • Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engg. by actual studies provided the candidate has studied at least eight subject out of the list of eighteen subjects.
