National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) - 2012


The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) , 2012 on19/08/2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 130th Course and Naval Academy for 92nd [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing from July 2013. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible
Posts : 335 (Army-195, Navy-39, Air Force - 66, Navy Academy- 55)

Eligibility:
  • Age : Born between 2nd July, 1994 and 1st January 1997.
  • Educational Qualification
    • for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    • For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects

  • Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
Fee: Rs.50/- to be deposited in any branch of SBI or Online by Net Banking Or by Credit/ Debit card.

Indian Air Force : Fast Track Selection (FTS):

Indian Air Force will conduct Fast Track Selection (FTS) at Greater NOIDA for short listing of candidates for AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER (Electronics) , Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical)

Training of the finally selected candidates will commence in January, 2011.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics/ Mechanical): B.E., B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Communications, Electronics & Communications, Instrumentation, Information Technology, Computer Science or a Combination of these streams.
    OR
    Diploma in Electronics of Madras Institute of Technology
    OR
    B.Tech in Radio Physics and Electronics / Optics and Opto Electronics
    OR
    M.Sc Degree in Physics (With Electronics) / Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Application/ MCA with Maths, Physics and Electronics at Graduation level or M.Sc. Tech in Electronics and Radio Engineering

Qualificaitons :
Candidates must be less than 25 years and unmarried.
Administration & Logistics : Graduation or Post Graduation in Art, Science, Law, Commerce or Management / AICTE approved PG Diploma in Business Administraion or Management (3 year part time / 2 year full time) or Engineering with 60% & above for Graudates and Min. 50% or more for Post Graduate/ Law/ CA/ICWA/ PG Diploma . 
Accounts : Graduation or PG in Commerce or ICWA or CA with B.Com/M.Com.
Meteorology : PG in Science, Geography or MCA (Physics and Maths should be at Graduate level)

Join Indian Air force as Commissioned Officer in Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) branch throgh Fast Track Selection (FTS) for 72 AEC (Men) / 44 SSC (Men & Women)

Course commencing Jan 2008

Qualificaitons :
All Engineering Degree holders (BE or B.Tech.) with a First Class (Min. 60% in aggregate) in Electronics, Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science/ Engineering.
Candidates must be born between 02 Jan 1980 and 01 Jan 1990.


Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) : consisting of two Multiple choice (MCQ) papers viz. General engineering (45 questions) and specialist Paper (30 questions) either on te same day or subsequent days. All EKT qualified candidates will undergo Phase-I Test either on the same day or subsequent days. All Phase-I qualified candidates will be issued call letters by the AFSB's for testing in Sep-Nov 07.

All Post Graduate Degree with a second class (Min. 50% in aggregate) in Science, Geography or MCA.

Age : Post Graduate - Not before than 02 Jan 1983 and for Ph.D - Not before than 02 Jan 1982.


Comon Entrance Test (CET) : will have objective and descriptive test items to test the knowledge in English and General Awareness. Result of the CET will be declared on the same day. All CET qualified candidates will undergo Phase-I Test either on the same day or subsequent days.
