Applications are invited from unmarried MaleCandidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA) - 133th Batch. Course Commencing  04 February 2013.

Age : Candidates to be born between 01 Feb 1993 to 31 Jan 1996 (both dates inclusive)   

Educational Qualifications : 55% or more marks in aggregate in 10+2/equivalent examination with complusary subjects Physics and Mathematics : optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

Pay : The Artifice Apprentices Basic Pay Band is Rs.5200-20200, Grade Pay @Rs.2000/- plus MSP @Rs. 2000/- plus ‘X’ Group Pay @Rs.1400/-

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) - 2012


The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA-II and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II) , 2012 on19/08/2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for 130th Course and Naval Academy for 92nd [10+2 Executive Branch] course commencing from July 2013. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible
Posts : 335 (Army-195, Navy-39, Air Force - 66, Navy Academy- 55)

Eligibility:
  • Age : Born between 2nd July, 1994 and 1st January 1997.
  • Educational Qualification
    • for Army : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
    • For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics and Mathematics subjects

  • Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
Fee: Rs.50/- to be deposited in any branch of SBI or Online by Net Banking Or by Credit/ Debit card.

Age –Candidates to be Born between 01oct1990 to 30sep1994.
Qualifications -10th
Musical Ability –Should have Proficiency in Westorn National, aural Aptitute, know ledge of theory of Music and Actual Practical Skill on and Music Instument.
Instruments on which Proficiency Required – String,Key-board,Woodwind,Brass and Precussion Instruments both of Western and Origin.

Become a Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer in Technical Branch (General Service - GS) - January 2010 Course
Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Technical Branches (Engineering and Electrical) of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2010 at NAVAC Ezhimala, Kerala.
Eligibility Conditions:-
Age :- Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1985 to 01 July 1990; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications :- B.E/ B.Tech. (or equivalent) from a institution recognised by AICTE with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. Calculation for aggregate percentage should be based on total marks obtained in all the semesters (including I & II) divided by total number of semesters in any of the following disciplines:
Engineering Branch : Mechanical/ Production / Aeronautical / Marine / Control
Electrical Branch : Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / Avionics / Instrumentation & Control
Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male 157 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision, 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
SSC :- Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
