Qualifications :- For Educational qualification read official notification
Age limit as on 01.07.2012 :-  18-30 years (No maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes)
Section Process :- Selection will made on two stages.i0 CBT Computer based Test (Main Examination) ii) Oral Test Final Merit list will be prepared on the these two stages performance. (300+40 Marks) CBT will be conducted at following centres Chennai, Madurai, Thanjavur, Coimbatore, Nagercoil, Tiruchirappalli, Chidambaram, Pudukkottai, Tirunelveli, Kancheepuram, Ramanathapuram, Udhagamandalam, Karaikudi, Salem and Vellore . hall Ticet for the CBT will be published at TNPSC official websites
Application fee :- RS. 175/-(Application fee 50/- +  Examination fee Rs 125/- ) Reservation / Exemption categories candidates are exempted from Examination fee. No exemption for Application fee)  Through Post office or Bank (online mode / Offline mode)

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in three successive stages
1) written examination 2) physical test and 3) oral test.

Examination Fee: Rs.100 Examination fee should be paid only through any one of the Post Offices listed in Annexure III to the Brochure and the Postal Receipt obtained for payment should be pasted in the space provided in the application. Candidate should inform the OMR application Number to the Counter Clerk of the Post Office for obtaining the postal Receipt. No fee for SC/ST/Ex SM/ PH candidates.

How to apply: Filled in application forms along with copies of all qualification certificates and Postal receipt pasted in the application form must be sent to The Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai-600 002 so as to reach on or before 23rd December 2009.OMR application form along with an Information Brochure to candidates containing general instructions for filling the application form and an envelop for sending application can be obtained from any one of the Head Post Offices or selected sub-post offices in Tamil Nadu/ Puducherry.
