Recruitment of Graduate Engineers Advertisement No. RVUN/P&A – 01/2010
Anticipated vacancies (including backlog vacancies):- Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RVUN) Invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacant posts:

RVUN is looking for promising & energetic Graduate Engineers with excellent academic record who are willing to join RVUN and its subsidiary companies as Junior Engineer-I for building their own bright career. RVUN offers very good remuneration revised on the lines of Central 6th Pay Commission, apart from attractive Incentives and facilities, in comparison to similar Power Utilities in India.
Qualification (as on 17.3.2010) :-
Candidates must hold a Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a University established by Law in India or a Degree of a foreign University or institution, declared by the competent authority equivalent to a Degree in Engineering of a University established by Law in India, on the 17th March, 2010. The Degree in Engineering must be with minimum 60% marks in aggregate or AMIE with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
Provided that in case of Degree in Engineering, OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category candidates of Non-creamy layer will be allowed relaxation of 5% marks, and SC/ ST category and Physically Handicapped candidates will be allowed relaxation of 10% marks.
In case of AMIE qualification, candidates of SC, ST, OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category of Non-creamy layer and Physically Handicapped will be allowed relaxation of 5% in marks.
Candidates with the prescribed degree identified for the post as given below can only apply for the respective post:
Junior Engineer-I (Electrical) : Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Plant Engineering.
Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical) : Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Production & Industrial Engineering/ Thermal Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Plant Engineering.
Junior Engineer-I (C&I) : Electronics/ Electronics & Tele- Communication/ Instrumentation): Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Controls/ Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Industrial Electronics.
Junior Engineer-I (Civil) : Civil Engineering.
Junior Engineer-I (Fire Fighting) : Fire Fighting Engineering.
Candidates must possess knowledge of ‘Hindi’ written in ‘Devnagri script’.
Age (as on 17.3.2010) :-
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must have not attained the age of 35 years as on 17th March, 2010.
Remuneration :-
Candidates selected will be initially engaged as “Probationer-Trainee” for a period of two (2) years and during the period of probation-training, they will be paid fixed remuneration at the rate of Rs.10,000/- per month. After successful completion of probation-training they will be fixed in the regular pay scale of Junior Engineer-I in Running Pay Band of Rs. 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 3,200/-.

Demand Draft of Rs 100/- for Unreserved and OBC/BC (including the persons belonging to SBC) category candidates (Rs.50/- for SCSC/ ST and Physically Handicapped) favoring “Sr.AO(EA/Cash), RVUN, Jaipur”, payable at ‘Jaipur’. The Demand Draft must be purchased on or after the date of opening of the Online Registration i.e. from 03/03/2010 to the date of close of the Online Registration i.e. upto 17/03/2010.

All eligible candidates are required to apply “ONLINE” only on RVUN’s website – www.rvunl.com. The online Registration of applications will start on 3rd March, 2010 (10.00 AM) and will remain operative till 17th March, 2010 (5.00 PM). After applying online take print out of the system generated form and send it with relevant documents by Ordinary Post only in a closed envelope superscribed as "Application for the post of Junior Engineer-I in RVUN-2010" and the "System Generated Registration Number" on the top of the envelope and should send the envelope, at the following address:-
