Applications are invited from the Male candidates for filling up of
485 Posts of Constable (Computer Operator) in Harayana Police. Selection will be made in accordance with the provision under Punjab Police Rules 12.14 to 12.19 (amended upto 2007). Selected candidates on appointment as Constable (Computer Operator) shall be in the pay scale of Rs.3050-5325/- with usual allowances.

Eligibility : Candidate should be
citizen of India or a subject of Neapl or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.
Character Certificate : No person shall be appointed to the post of Constable (Operator), unless he produces a certificate of character from the Principal Academic, Officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended, and similar certificate from two other responsible persons, not being relative who are well acquainted with him in his private life and are unconnected with his university, college, school or institution.
Educational Qualification : 10+2 pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other Board recognised by it for all categories. Preference will be given to to candidates having one year or more Diplomas in Computer Application from any institution/workstation, which has the franchise of or approved by HARTRON, DOEC, NIIT, APTECH or any standard listed company imparting Computer Training.

18 to 25 years as on 1st September, 2007.
5 years relaxation to SC/BC candidates.
Ex-serviceman candidates must have been discharged/retired after 1st Septemebr, 2003.
Physical standard : Height : 5'7" minimum, Chest - 33" , Expanded - 34 1/2 "

GurgaonReservation : Reservation will be given only to those SC/BC candidates who are resident of Haryana. Other relaxation will be given as per Haryana Govt. rules.
Application Fee : Every application should be accompanied with original Treasury Challan or Indian Postal Order for payment of Rs.10/- for General category candidates. The amount be deposited in any Haryana Govt. Treasury under receipt head "0055-Police-Other-Receipt" or be paid by Indian Postal Order payable in favour of Chairman, Selection Board. No fee for SC/BC candidates of Haryana.
How to Apply : A candidate can apply to the DCP Crime, Police Commissionerate, Gurgaon cum-Chairman, Selection Board at District Police Lines, Gurgaon. Registration of candidate for recruitment shall begin on 10th September, 2007 at 9.00 AM at the designated Selection Centre. All the eligible candidates may submit their application forms as per prescribed proforma to the "The DCP Crime, Police Commissionerate Gurgaon cum-Chairman, Selection Board Gurgaon" at District Police Lines, Gurgaon in person. The candiates are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it along with the application form. Application form can be sent by Registered Post also as to reach the concerned Selection Centres not later the 25th September, 2007. Application by Ordinary post will not be accepted.
